i liked this chapter.  kagome in pants was interesting, too.  i'm oddly happy about how the sealing thing worked out.

However I cannot ignore that the "Stop Fighting" motive is quite dominant is all recent chapters. Actually in the anime when Kikyo asked Inuyasha if he would agree to become human, she started with same words.

It seems logical that if souls inside the Shikon stop fighting it would disperse.

Well, I'm sure things are not so simple. My lucky guess would be that the key is the human that youkais have used as anchor for battling Midoriko. If the wish could convince him not to fight/hate the one he loves, then maybe…

This chapter was such a welcome break from all those upgrade arcs…yet came off as somewhat bittersweet to me. (;.;) Oh well, there's fluff… :3 it's stuff like this that makes Inuyasha so great.
